Pre-Seed Angel Investment Opportunity – Climate Deep-Tech (Afterpoly)

Afterpoly is raising a $300K pre-seed round, anchored by a $50K lead angel investment to accelerate pilot-scale validation and early commercial deployment of biodegradable plastic alternatives. We are building a new class of engineered biomaterials designed to replicate the functional performance of conventional plastics during use mechanical strength, flexibility, and barrier properties while enabling controlled biodegradation after disposal under real-world environmental conditions. Unlike conventional bioplastics that require new infrastructure, Afterpoly materials are designed for drop-in compatibility with existing manufacturing systems, including extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming processes. This allows brands to transition without capital-intensive retooling or operational disruption. Current stage and traction

• Pilot-ready formulations with validated working prototypes across multiple material configurations
• Active engagement with early-stage partners in cosmetics, personal care, and packaging use-cases
• Iterative lab-to-pilot development cycle underway, focused on optimizing cost-performance balance
• Initial benchmarking against conventional LDPE/PP packaging performance parameters

Use of funds The current round will be used to:

• Expand pilot-scale production and batch consistency testing
• Strengthen material formulation and process optimization
• Run application-specific validation with brand partners
• Build early supply chain and manufacturing partnerships
