Job Summary

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management systems. You'll be responsible for entering and updating data within our systems, verifying data for accuracy, and performing regular backups to ensure data preservation. Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Transferring data from paper formats into digital files or database systems
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
  • Updating existing data
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this role.
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position: While not required, having experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar position is a plus.
  • Fast typing skills: You must have fast typing skills, with a strong preference for touch typing systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets: You must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and other word processing and spreadsheet tools.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware: You must have a basic understanding of office equipment and computer hardware.
