As a small but rapidly growing team of 4, we're now seeking an exceptional Customer Support Representative to join our ranks and help us take our customer support to the next level. As our first dedicated CS rep, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer support system and processes. You'll have the opportunity to not only provide top-notch support to our merchants but also explore other aspects of our business and potentially switch roles in the future. Key Responsibilities

As our Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Communicating with customers via live chat or email, resolving any problems they may have, and providing exceptional support to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Continuously learning about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to stay up-to-date and provide expert support to our merchants.
  • Summarizing product feedback from merchants and suggesting new ways to improve our products and services.
  • Performing non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • A passion for talking to people and solving their problems, with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • The ability to handle challenging customers (although we're a small team, we're proud of our excellent rating, and we're confident that you'll find our customers to be friendly and supportive).
  • Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a willingness to learn more about CSS, JS, and other technical topics as needed.
  • The ability to write technical documentation and articles, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for communicating complex ideas simply.
  • A willingness to perform non-CS related tasks, as we're a small startup, and we all wear multiple hats.
  • A minimum of 4 hours of overlap with GMT+7 (9am-6pm) to ensure seamless communication with our team and customers.

Nice to Have Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be a great asset to your application:

  • Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development or customization.
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Additional languages, especially French, Spanish, and Italian, to support our international customer base.
  • Any other skills that can be beneficial to a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, or other creative skills.
