Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service Agent – Ticketing and Baggage Check-in Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Using a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process and verify customer documentation
  • Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts, as well as handling items at floor and waist level
  • Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures, adhering to arenaflex's safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve customer issues and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., customer service, hospitality, or travel industry) an asset

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the travel industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Physical ability to perform lifting tasks and handle items at floor and waist level

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a ticketing or baggage check-in environment

  • Knowledge of airline operations and travel industry procedures
  • Familiarity with computerized ticketing systems and software
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
