Job Title: Podcast Producer & Video Editor (Riverside.fm & YouTube Specialist)Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Video Editor and Production Creative to manage the end-to-end post-production workflow for the Exec Edge Podcast. Your primary responsibility will be taking raw recordings from Riverside.fm, polishing them into professional episodes, and creating high-engagement social clips for YouTube. The ideal candidate is comfortable following a strict Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) while maintaining high creative standards for audio-visual branding.
Key Responsibilities
Following our established Riverside.fm SOP, you will be responsible for: Full Episode Assembly: Accessing raw recordings in Riverside.fm, flagging technical issues, and seamlessly integrating branded intros and outros. Quality Control: Ensuring audio levels are balanced, trimming dead air, and performing final playback checks to verify professional flow. Social Content Creation (Magic Clips): Utilizing Riverside’s "Magic Clips" tool to identify and edit the two best moments from each episode. Custom Intro Production: Writing/generating and adding short, custom intros for each social clip to provide context for viewers.YouTube Management: Uploading finished clips to YouTube with optimized titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.Documentation: Keeping our episode tracking sheets updated and notifying the host once content is live.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Expertise: Proficiency with Riverside.fm (specifically the Editor and Magic Clips features).Video Editing: Experience in vertical video formatting (1080×1920) for YouTube Shorts/Social media.YouTube Optimization: Knowledge of YouTube Studio, including playlist management and SEO (tags/descriptions).Attention to Detail: Ability to strictly follow a multi-phase checklist to ensure brand consistency.Communication: Strong written skills for drafting clip intros and keeping the production team updated.Project DetailsShow: Exec Edge Podcast.Producer Lead: Dylan Recker.Primary Tools: Riverside.fm, YouTube, and Shared Storage (Google Drive/Dropbox).Workflow: You will be provided with a detailed 5-phase SOP to guide every episode from review to final handoff.
