Job Summary: The Senior Associate Pharmacy Technician provides support to pharmacists in filling prescriptions for patients. This role ensures accurate and timely medication dispensing while maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction. Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently
• Count, pour, weigh, and label medications
• Fill and refill prescriptions according to doctor's orders
• Process insurance claims and collect payment information
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions and addressing concerns
• Maintain organized records of all prescriptions filled and dispensed
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy
• Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
• Experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred.
