Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation and Content Development team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for applying advanced data analysis techniques to drive business decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize content performance. You will work closely with our content team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that will enhance our content portfolio and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process to optimize content performance
- Test and optimize marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques (e.g., decision trees, regression, clustering)
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)
