About the Role

We're seeking an Experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, working on the development and support of cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines that support our business operations. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure that our data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS

  • Develop and implement data processing workflows using Python, SQL, and other programming languages
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data pipelines meet their requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines, working closely with our engineering team
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and analysis
  • Work with our data governance team to ensure that data pipelines meet our data quality and security standards

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
  • Strong experience with Python and SQL, with a focus on cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience with source control using GitLab or GitHub
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles
