Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Health Insurance Operations, you will play a critical role in supporting arenaflex's health insurance operations by researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, data entry, and customer satisfaction. This temporary to permanent remote opportunity offers a unique chance to develop your skills, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of arenaflex's health insurance operations.

Responsibilities

* Research and respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Utilize data entry and typing skills to accurately and efficiently process customer information
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate customer situations, make decisions, and respond quickly to questions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to arenaflex's policies, procedures, and quality standards

Key Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED (education verification not required)

  • 1 year customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements

* 1 year customer service experience

  • 6 months data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, i.e., CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Skills and Competencies

* Strong data entry and typing skills (at least 40 wpm)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
  • Ability to navigate and utilize various software applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
