As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Intake and sale of prescriptions, processing charges for prescriptions and OTC merchandise
  • Collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card
  • Providing receipts and checking the status of student accounts
  • Collecting personal information and counting and recording all cash/charge records and files
  • Answering calls and greeting patients with exceptional customer service
  • Following all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA
  • Adhering to established operating procedures and maintaining a fast-paced, busy work environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or higher, plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Pharmacy experience is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and billing systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
