Job Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at an Amazon Locker+ retail location, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth experience for our customers. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities as a Customer Service Associate at an Amazon Locker+ retail location may include:

  • Receiving, picking, and stowing customer orders, processing returns, and preparing for delivery
  • Assisting customers with questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's high standards for customer service and safety
  • Managing responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site
  • Using technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receiving truck deliveries and ensuring that all packages are accurately processed and stored

Physical Demands

As a Customer Service Associate at an Amazon Locker+ retail location, you'll need to be able to:

  • Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
  • Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week

  • Surroundings: You'll be working behind a counter, interacting with customers in a comfortable and climate-controlled environment.
  • Activity: You'll be on your feet for the majority of your shift, helping customers and sorting packages.
  • Temperature: Our Locker+ locations are in comfortable, climate-controlled environments.
  • Noise level: Sound levels are minimal, similar to what you'd expect in a grocery store.
  • Dress code: Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear are required in select business units. Depending on the role or location, arenaflex provides a $110 Zappos gift code towards the purchase of shoes, in order to have you prepared for your first day on the job.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at an Amazon Locker+ retail location, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience working in a retail or warehouse environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld devices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. business, communications)
