We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis, working remotely from the United States.

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customs declarations, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and internal stakeholders. You'll work closely with our Customs Brokerage team to transpose customs declaration information from documents into our operating system, verify compliance with regulations, and execute daily workflow and department metrics.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system

  • Understand and identify customs documentation
  • Transpose customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verify documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
  • Provide excellent customer service building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensure compliance at all times to regulations
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics

Essential Qualifications

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
  • Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain management

  • Familiarity with customs regulations and compliance procedures
  • Experience with data entry software and customs entry systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
