CSR/ Dispatch Hybrid

Description Pinnacle's promise consists of People, Respect, Ownership, Morale, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence General Responsibilities Managing a team to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Shift: M-F 10am - 6:30pm Key Duties & Responsibilities A. Operational Functions:

• Coordinating the schedule of a shipping company or a group of drivers.
• Ensuring that data related to deliveries and shipments of freight are entered

timely into tracking software.

• Managing customer service satisfaction by providing updates on ETA and

location of drivers.

• Obtaining back-haul freight and dispatching OTR drivers.
• Directing inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and

warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.

• Negotiating and arranging transport of goods with shipping or freight companies.
• Determining method of shipment and preparing bills of lading, invoices, and other

shipping documents.

• Tracking delivery progress of shipments.
• Managing the zoning of driver dispatches to ensure they are cost effective

routes.

• Developing a proactive relationship with our customers by providing firstclass customer service and communication
• Handling shipment quoting/pricing for customers
• Covering available shipments through strategic negotiations with trucking

companies

• Providing problem-resolution effectively and a timely manner

B. Administrative Functions:

• Keeping records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
• Managing and tracking detention times accurately per shipment.
• Sending and collecting documents to and from carriers
• Data entry of various files and information into our software

Minimum Requirements o High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency o Basic computer skills o Detail oriented o Thrive in a fast-paced environment o Excel both as an individual and in a team environment. o Excellent communication skills - written and verbal o Professional, driven and results oriented o LTL, Local , and Linehaul Knowledge o Excellent time management o Deadline driven thorough knowledge of the LTL and Linehaul o Works well with team and alone o Strong Knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area.
