Senior Commercial Property Manager
Our client, a distinguished player in the real estate sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Property Manager to oversee a significant portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of property operations, tenant relations, financial management, and leasing. As a Senior Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, optimizing property performance, and maximizing asset value. Your duties will include developing and implementing property management plans, overseeing maintenance and repair activities, and managing vendor relationships. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally, thereby fostering strong, long-term relationships. This role requires proactive lease administration, including rent collection, lease renewals, and ensuring compliance with lease terms. Financial oversight is a critical component of this position. You will be responsible for developing annual operating budgets, managing property expenses, and providing accurate financial reports to stakeholders. Variance analysis and implementing cost-saving measures will be key. You will also collaborate with leasing teams to achieve optimal occupancy rates and rental income. Risk management, including ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing emergency preparedness plans, is paramount. The ability to conduct regular property inspections, identify potential issues, and coordinate necessary actions is essential. Strong leadership skills are needed to manage on-site staff and external contractors effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial property management. Proven track record of successfully managing large commercial real estate portfolios. In-depth knowledge of property operations, building systems, and maintenance. Strong understanding of lease agreements, tenant relations, and legal compliance. Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience with commercial real estate software and property management systems. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
