Experienced Full Stack Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Professional Services Procurement

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions, maximizing the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend, and mitigating risks through clever agreement negotiations. This role involves running RFPs, negotiating business and department-level deals, managing vendor relationships, recommending top-notch providers and innovations, facilitating process improvements, and bringing stakeholders together for collaboration and opportunity leveraging.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll join a dynamic team responsible for the strategic sourcing of Professional Services for arenaflex, building relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement to identify top-tier vendor partners, leading deal negotiations, and assisting in optimizing cross-departmental vendor relationships. You'll work on a wide range of projects, keeping your role exciting and exposing you to various service-providing industries, including consulting and advisory, financial, tax, audit, data subscriptions, translations, temporary workers, managed services, and more. This will allow you to grow in strategic thinking, relationship building, innovative problem-solving, process improvement, innovation sourcing, and other key skills that will elevate you as a strong business leader. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating and leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders
• Evaluating providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
• Developing and leading RFI/RFP processes for professional services according to arenaflex policies and procedures
• Analyzing bids based on overall cost/delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value
• Preparing and executing clear, data-driven negotiation techniques using Strategic Sourcing methodology
• Preparing and executing contracts, as well as performing post-award administration
• Understanding and assisting in the development and execution of performance control programs with providers focusing on quality, responsiveness, and cost
• Ensuring compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
• Communicating and documenting the status of any critical external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
• Analyzing market trends and situations affecting internal stakeholders and external providers or pricing
• Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with current business best practices
• Demonstrating exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
• Showing expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in professional services sourcing
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
• Strong strategic agility
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Knowledge of:

+ Sourcing & Procurement processes + Basic legal terms & conditions + Entertainment industry trends and situations + Proven expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements + Established experience working with the legal department on matters regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services

• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
