Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Payroll Clerk to join our team at the Decatur, IL office. As a Data Entry Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining payroll information, entering data into the payroll system, and performing other clerical duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll information - Enter data into the payroll system with high accuracy and efficiency - Perform other clerical duties as assigned, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping - Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies - Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve any issues or discrepancies - Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders - Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Essential Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent - 1-2 years of experience in data entry, payroll, or a related field - Proven ability to follow specific directions and work within standards of accuracy - Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, accounting, or finance) - Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or Workday) - Certification in payroll processing or a related field (e.g., CPP or FPC) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word - Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
