Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, USA. As a Database Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain databases to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives - Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various sources - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions - Provide data insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform business decisions - Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders - Troubleshoot database issues and perform disaster recovery tasks as needed - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and analytics
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 4+ years of experience in database management and analytics - Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based databases and data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) - Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) - Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) - Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes - Experience with data governance and compliance
