Job Summary

As an Experienced Part-Time Customer Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our insurance office, ensuring that all client needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of service and professionalism, working closely with agents and underwriters to facilitate the insurance process and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

* Client Interaction: Manage client inquiries, addressing concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.

  • Office Operations: Oversee day-to-day office functions, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with agents and underwriters to facilitate the insurance process and deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Policy Management: Assist with policy applications, endorsements, and claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to clients regarding policy details, claims processes, and general insurance inquiries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as paperwork, scheduling, and office organization to support office efficiency.

Requirements

* Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.

  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Exceptional Business Writing and Editing Skills.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a customer-facing role.

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.

  • Familiarity with insurance software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
