Join arenaflex as a Part-time Data Entry / ROI Specialist
As a Data Entry / ROI Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing the secure and compliant release of medical records and health information for patients, authorized individuals, and third-party entities. You'll be part of a dedicated workforce in a global company that celebrates the skills you bring. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Converting hard copies to electronic images, with comprehensive training provided by our team
- Processing and verifying a variety of standard coded or uncoded customer business and/or statistical source data into a computer using a data entry device
- Ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational policies in handling requests for health records, while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient information
- Managing the secure and compliant release of medical records and health information for patients, authorized individuals, and third-party entities
Location and Schedule:
Our part-time Data Entry / ROI Specialist role is based at our Birmingham, AL location, with the following schedule:- Sunday: 7:00am - 7:00pm (12 hour shift)
- Friday: 11:00pm - 7:30am (8 hour shift)
Compensation and Benefits:

To succeed as a Data Entry / ROI Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in health information management or a release of information role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with medical records systems and terminology
- Prior experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and document management is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other privacy laws related to patient information required
- Certified Health Information Technician (CHIT) or Certified Release of Information (ROI) Specialist certification preferred
