As a Text Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for responding to live chat messages from customers on a business's website. Your role will involve:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and helpful information to customers about products, services, and policies
  • Handling multiple conversations simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless customer support
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to live chat messages from customers on a business's website

  • Provide top-notch assistance to customers through live chat
  • Handle multiple conversations simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure
  • Reliable internet connection and a device capable of accessing social media and website chat functions
  • Availability for 10+ hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience (not required but a plus)

  • Familiarity with live chat software and customer support platforms
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
