Job Summary

As an Experienced Insurance Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for providing timely and effective support to customers via inbound phone calls. Your primary tasks will include:

  • Gathering and verifying customer information
  • Entering data into forms and systems
  • Answering questions about insurance policies and products
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Gather and verify customer information to ensure accurate data entry
  • Enter data into forms and systems, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of insurance policies and products to customers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in customer support, preferably in the insurance industry

  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a high-volume call environment
  • Strong data entry skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter information into systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with insurance software platforms and systems

  • Knowledge of insurance policies and products, including underwriting, claims, and billing
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to type 45+ WPM
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and SQL
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
