Job Description

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will work closely with our Quality Control team to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
• Helping with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
• Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
• Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
• Helping with creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
• Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
• Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
• Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
• May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
• Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a focus on responsibilities and a willingness to be a self-starter.
• Past internship, capstone project, or research experience in a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive and classified information appropriately.
• Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
