Important: This role supports AI speech development but does not involve voice cloning of any kind.
What You'll Do
- Record clear, expressive, professional-grade French voice performances using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated French speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, tonal authenticity, and emotional expression
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to help refine and improve synthesized voice outputs
- Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure delivery sounds genuinely natural to French speakers
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in French with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
- Background in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, dubbing, or related performance-based audio work
- Access to a large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
- Sharply attuned to nuance in tone, pacing, clarity, and pronunciation when evaluating speech
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience recording for audiobooks, animation, commercial voice-over, or e-learning
- Familiarity with AI voice tools or speech evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of French regional accents or dialectal variation — Metropolitan, Canadian, Belgian, or otherwise
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, or broadcast performance
