About the position Account Executive (Future Territory Leader) | High-Growth AI EdTech Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid) Compensation: $100k – $200k OTE + Equity Potential The Opportunity: Founding Territory Member for a Global Disruptor The Mission: Closing the Global Math Gap Statistics show that 1 in 5 students globally struggle with math - a subject that dictates future career opportunities. As one of the world’s fastest-growing EdTech companies, they have developed a category-defining AI platform that turns handwritten student work into real-time digital insights. With thousands of schools already onboard across the U.S. and Europe, they are now scaling their Texas presence. EQL is exclusively searching for a high-octane Account Executive to own the Dallas/Texas territory and grow into a future leadership role. The "Rocketship" Reality This isn’t a "cog-in-the-machine" sales job. There is no 300-page playbook or rigid corporate structure. We are looking for a builder. Responsibilities

  • Drive Growth: Own the full sales cycle from prospect to close, focusing on high-level district stakeholders (Superintendents, CAOs, Directors of Math).
  • Territory Leadership: As the founding Dallas AE, you will act as a Territory Leader, shaping the regional strategy and representing the brand at major conferences.
  • Consultative Closing: Move beyond "selling software." You will help districts solve funding, teacher support, and student achievement challenges through innovative AI.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work directly with Product and Marketing teams to refine the U.S. go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • The "Owner" Mentality: You don't wait for instructions. You see a blank page as an opportunity and a "broken" process as something to fix.
  • Experienced Hunter: You have 4+ years of SaaS sales experience (EdTech is a massive bonus, but not a dealbreaker if you are a top-tier closer).
  • Mission-Aligned: You care about public education. You believe math is a gateway to opportunity and are fired up to put better tools in teachers' hands.
  • Humble & Hungry: You are competitive with yourself but a selfless teammate. You are coachable, curious, and ready to pick up the phone.
  • Texas-Based: This is a Hybrid role based in Dallas, with up to 30% travel to engage with district leaders across the region.
