Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key account manager, you'll be responsible for managing client communications, nurturing important relationships, and keeping track of policy details and documentation in our secured system. This is a critical role on our team, with a strong focus on client services to foster ongoing sales and renewals.

Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Communicating regularly with key industry reps regarding industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers to stay up-to-date on new rules and policy updates
  • Supporting clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation to process claims efficiently
  • Documenting any policy changes on customer accounts according to NAIC regulations and clearly communicating with customers about those updates
  • Assisting with the renewal process and any policy updates by providing competitive quotes to ensure clients receive the best possible coverage
  • Answering clients' questions about policy or billing issues, including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An active insurance license in your state or willingness to obtain one within 90 days
  • Relevant insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is helpful but not required; training will be provided if your talents are a good match
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree; relevant insurance industry experience will also be considered
  • Strong follow-up, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary range: $111,000 - $123,000 per year
