The Role
As a Plumbing Dispatcher - Customer Service Representative, you will be the heartbeat of our company, responsible for providing prompt, convenient service to our customers while maximizing our field technicians' time and mileage. Your primary duties will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls to schedule or reschedule appointments and assisting customers with their queries
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service skills
- Assigning jobs to the right technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records
- Providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients over the phone, in person, or via email
- Schedule and reschedule appointments with customers and technicians
- Assign jobs to technicians based on their availability and expertise
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and job assignments
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and industry developments
Requirements
* One year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the plumbing or related industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a dispatch or customer service role in the plumbing industry
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and services
