About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist in our Government and Corporate Affairs team, you'll play a critical role in promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex. You'll be responsible for: * Preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and preparing and issuing tickets * Answering inquiries regarding general travel information and resolving customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner * Communicating with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights * Communicating new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer * Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner

Key Responsibilities:

* Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex * Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets * Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner * Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights * Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer * Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training * Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills * Knowledge of Native SABRE * Ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution * Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable * Satisfactory attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field * Knowledge of air travel industry regulations and policies * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
