About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. You will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to understand and meet the data needs of our business, ensuring that our data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, including Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
• Work with data scientists and engineers to understand and meet the data needs of our business, ensuring that our data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain personalization calculations using Python and Pydantic models.
• Assemble and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases.
• Use Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on event-driven architectures and AWS services.
• Strong understanding of AWS local event-driven services, including Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in serverless architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on event-driven architectures and AWS services.
• Experience with personalization, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Amazon Kinesis and streaming data processing.
