Remote Senior UX/UI Designer - Sports Technology
Our client, a pioneer in sports technology, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote team. This role is perfect for a creative professional passionate about sports and technology, looking to craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences for athletes and fans alike. You will be instrumental in shaping the user interface and user experience of our innovative sports applications and platforms. As a remote-first position, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, collaborating closely with a distributed team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design process for new features and products, from concept to launch, ensuring a user-centered approach. Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions. Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all products. Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. Advocate for user needs and best practices in design throughout the organization. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the sports tech industry. Present design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams and leadership. Contribute to a culture of design excellence and innovation. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data. Qualifications: Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful web and mobile application designs, preferably in the sports or gaming industry. Expertise in user research methodologies and usability testing. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite). Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design. Experience designing for cross-platform applications (web, iOS, Android). Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A passion for sports and a keen eye for detail in creating engaging user experiences. Previous experience working in a remote-first environment is highly desirable.
