Our client, a cutting-edge digital media production company, is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Lead 3D Motion Graphics Artist to join their remote-first team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location within the US. As the Lead Artist, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing compelling 3D motion graphics for a variety of projects, including commercials, corporate videos, broadcast graphics, and interactive experiences. You will lead a small team of artists, providing creative direction and technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables that align with client briefs and artistic vision. Key responsibilities include: Conceptualizing and developing creative visual concepts for 3D motion graphics projects. Designing and animating complex 3D scenes, characters, and objects using industry-standard software. Leading and mentoring junior 3D artists, providing feedback and fostering skill development. Collaborating closely with directors, art directors, and clients to understand project requirements and translate them into visual narratives. Creating style guides and storyboards to effectively communicate design intentions. Optimizing 3D assets and animations for performance and efficiency. Managing project timelines and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality assets. Staying updated with the latest advancements in 3D software, rendering techniques, and motion graphics trends. Troubleshooting technical issues and finding creative solutions. Contributing to the overall artistic direction and innovation of the studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional 3D animation, modeling, texturing, and lighting skills. Proficiency in software such as Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, and Adobe After Effects is mandatory. Experience with renderers like Redshift, Octane, or V-Ray is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field, combined with at least 6 years of professional experience in 3D motion graphics, is required. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are crucial for this remote leadership role.
