As a Customer Service Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from individuals to businesses, and help them navigate the complexities of air travel. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Advancing and selling air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders
  • Providing assistance with passenger check-in and baggage handling
  • Interpreting government regulations and requirements for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments
  • Meeting and dispatching aircraft within established times
  • Providing assistance to distressed passengers and customers
  • Safeguarding company property and revenue
  • Ensuring safe travel
  • Utilizing your skills and expertise to perform various job-related tasks
  • Using organizational skills to complete multiple tasks within a limited time frame
  • Being self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision
  • Answering and assisting during security and crisis situations
  • Following internal/external policies and procedures
  • May be required to drive and work air stairs to board and deplane passengers
  • Responsible for the overall performance within the workspace and may be required to lead and direct the work of other team members
  • May be required to perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication, along with Peak capabilities

All You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Least Capabilities Training and Earlier Professional training
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas
  • Appropriate valid driver's license as required by local authorities
  • Should meet FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Should be able to obtain suitable airport authority and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable
  • Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Should be able to answer to manage on an ordinary and convenient basis
