Mechanical Engineer; Reverse Engineering​/Scan-to-CAD - Remote; LATAM

Position: Mechanical Engineer (Reverse Engineering / Scan-to-CAD) - Remote (LATAM) Location: Blomkest We are hiring Mechanical Engineers in LATAM to support U.S. -based engineering projects in a remote, full-time, long-term contractor capacity. This role is ideal for engineers with strong experience in reverse engineering and scan-to-CAD workflows , working from 3D scan data to replicate, analyze, and redesign mechanical parts and components. Most of the work is developed in Solid Works , and the projects typically support industrial and manufacturing applications across different sectors. What You’ll Do

• Develop mechanical models and engineering deliverables based on 3D scan data
• Perform scan-to-CAD and reverse engineering work for existing parts and systems
• Support dimensional interpretation and validation tasks
• Collaborate remotely with the engineering team on U.S.

-based projects

• Contribute to mechanical design and engineering tasks as needed

Mechanical Engineering background (degree or equivalent experience) Strong experience in reverse engineering / scan-to-CAD workflows Experience working with 3D scan data Advanced proficiency in Solid Works (daily use) Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments Ability to interpret GD&T and dimensional requirements Previous experience supporting U.S. clients or U.S. -based projects Strong communication skills in English Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a remote contractor role
