Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Specialist, you'll play a critical role in educating members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and resolve issues related to benefits. You'll also have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including police departments, firefighters, teachers, postal workers, and other labor unions.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to members, answering questions and resolving issues related to benefits

  • Educate members about the benefits available to them through their union affiliation
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and sales targets
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements for Consideration

* Flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our clients and team members

  • Fluent in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus but not required)
  • MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting performance metrics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse clients and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with labor unions, credit unions, or associations

  • Knowledge of benefits and insurance products
  • Experience with sales and sales management
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
