Hiring: Senior Software Developer [UI/UX Designer/Developer] We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer [UI/UX Designer/Developer]. This role focuses on designing intuitive, accessible, and platform-agnostic user experiences across enterprise-scale web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
User Interface & User Experience Design
- Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web, mobile, and hybrid platforms.
- Create responsive UI experiences optimized for desktop and mobile devices.
- Establish and maintain a consistent UX framework across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Translate business and technical requirements into user-friendly, intuitive designs.
Accessibility & Compliance
- Design for accessibility, including:
- Color contrast compliance
- Keyboard navigation
- Screen reader compatibility
- Assistive technology support
- Partner with QA and technical teams to validate accessibility requirements throughout implementation.
Design Standards & Reusability
- Define and document UI/UX standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Develop reusable UI components and scalable design assets.
- Support development teams through design reviews and implementation guidance.
Key Deliverables
- Platform-agnostic wireframes and high-fidelity mockups
- Accessibility compliance documentation
- UX design guidelines and standards
- Mobile accessibility framework

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
- Strong expertise in responsive design and cross-platform UX principles.
- Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and public-sector compliance requirements.
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and UX documentation for regulated environments.
- Strong ability to simplify complex business and technical requirements into effective user experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on state or government technology programs.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and validation processes.
- Experience contributing to enterprise UI design systems.
