Senior Amazon & Retail Media Manager

The Role Wpromote is looking for a Senior Manager to join our growing Amazon & Retail Media team. As an end-to-end service, our team manages all aspects of our clients’ Retail Media business to help them succeed and hit their goals. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $85,000 - $100,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).

• Accountable for managing a book of retail media business across Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retailers
• Designing, implementing and managing ad spend across campaigns, while having a full grasp of how different ad types work together to further our client’s goals
• Monitoring daily trends, opportunities, and spend across multiple brands
• Proactively communicating with clients about account health, ad performance, sales, best practices, potential opportunities and developing action plans to improve results
• Working in a dynamic, time-intensive environment where competing priorities are commonplace
• Closely monitoring competitors and category trends
• Auditing prospective Amazon accounts and identifying areas for improvement to assist in the sales process
• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of new or emerging trends within Amazon and other marketplaces
• Tasked with some special projects as needed to help the growth of the department

You Must Have

• 3+ years of experience consulting on or directly managing Amazon Advertising accounts for sponsored ads
• 2+ years of experience consulting on or directly managing Amazon Advertising Accounts for Amazon DSP
• Experience working with or at a brand with $2M+ in annual ad budgets
• Experience directly managing ads on retailers outside of Amazon (Walmart, Target, Criteo)
• Experience with 3p campaign management providers (i.e. Pacvue, Skai, CommerceIQ, Perpetua)
• Great communication skills both written and oral, with a strong attention to detail
• Great organization, the ability to balance client timelines and business needs, across multiple clients
• The ability to manage client expectations and priorities
• Experience presenting to senior-level client contacts during monthly executive summaries or QBRs
• A deep understanding of paid search, which includes campaign buildouts, bid optimizations, reporting, and advanced knowledge of the different ad types
• Knowledge about how Amazon marketing and performance affects the purchase funnel

Nice To Have

• Experience working with a brand porftolio (collection of brands/sub-brands under one parent company)
• Prior agency experience
• Experience with marketshare measurement tools (i.e. Stackline, JungleScout, Helium10)
• Experience with AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud)
• Experience working with or at a brand with $25M+ in annual Amazon sales
• Experience with areas of Amazon outside of paid media (content, logistics, catalog management, etc.)
• The ability to explain nuances of full-funnel marketplace strategy clearly and concisely
