Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications

The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications is responsible for shaping and executing a cohesive internal and external communications strategy that strengthens brand credibility, aligns employees, and amplifies leadership voice. This role drives thought leadership, employee engagement, and consistent storytelling across the organization, ensuring communications support key business priorities and cultural objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Develop and execute integrated internal and external communications strategies aligned to business goals Partner with executive leadership to translate company priorities into clear, compelling messaging Ensure consistency of brand voice and messaging across all communication channels Internal Communications & Engagement Lead internal communications strategy to drive employee awareness, alignment, and engagement Develop content for executive communications (town halls, leadership updates, organizational announcements) Create communication frameworks that support change management, transformation initiatives, and operational cadence Establish channels and best practices that improve transparency and two-way communication across the organization External Communications & Brand Reputation Support and amplify company positioning through external messaging, PR coordination, and digital content Partner with Marketing on campaigns to ensure alignment between brand, demand generation, and corporate narrative Manage media relations efforts in partnership with external agencies (if applicable) Monitor and guide brand reputation across channels Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility Build and execute thought leadership strategies for senior leaders and subject matter experts Develop high-quality content including articles, bylines, LinkedIn posts, speeches, and presentations Elevate leadership presence with a focus on credibility, trust, and industry authority Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, awards, and industry recognition Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Marketing, HR, Sales, and Operations to align messaging and initiatives Support internal initiatives including culture-building programs, employer brand, and talent communications Serve as a communications advisor to business leaders Measurement & Continuous Improvement Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of communications and engagement Analyze performance and continuously optimize messaging, channels, and content strategies Implement tools and processes to improve efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

Required 5–8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or related field Strong ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, compelling messaging Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats Experience supporting executive communications and leadership visibility Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization Strong project management and organizational skills Preferred Experience in B2B, industrial, technical, or services environments Background working in fast-paced or highly matrixed organizations Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital channels for executive branding Experience managing agencies or external partners About Smart Care Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
