Senior Analyst Finance

Under general supervision, develops moderately complex financial models, and prepares forecasts and budgets for one or more business areas ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develops highly complex financial models, documents assumptions, and reviews outcomes. Performs due diligence for enterprise-wide strategy, product launches, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as other ad-hoc analyses. Presents findings to senior leadership and management to support decision processes. Prepares and analyzes revenue and/or expense budgets. Compiles standard reports to communicate variances and other findings to senior leadership and management. Serves as a subject matter expert in interpreting accounting results into financial models. Coordinates system automation projects as needed to improve analytical and reporting efficiencies. Coordinates, conducts and documents complex financial analysis and other accounting related projects. Mentors and/or trains less experienced staff. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in progressive accounting and/or finance roles. Public Accounting experience strongly preferred. Insurance or Financial Services background preferred. Financial modeling experience required. Advanced MS Office skills required. SAP experience preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail required.
