Location: North America – Permanent RemoteReports To: CEOWork Type: Permanent, Senior LeadershipExperience Required: 8 – 20 Years (10+ in marketing leadership; 5+ in coherent optics/DSP)Compensation: USD 225,000 – 250,000Role OverviewThe Director/Sr. Director of Product Marketing owns the global marketing function for a pioneering coherent DSP company in optical communications (800G, 1.6T+), driving strategy from positioning to demand generation. This leadership role combines deep technical expertise in coherent optics with proven execution to accelerate growth in telecom/datacom/semiconductor markets.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Product MarketingDefine/execute global marketing strategy aligned with corporate goals and product roadmap.Lead Coherent DSP ASIC product marketing: competitive analysis, value prop, differentiation, MRD/PRD development.Create technical collateral (whitepapers, datasheets, briefs, presentations) for optical engineers/system architects/CTO buyers.Engage analysts, speak at industry events to build thought leadership.Demand Generation & GTMDesign/implement go-to-market strategies: product launches, campaigns, digital outreach, sales enablement.Oversee lead generation (PR, SEO/SEM, events, partner marketing, ABM).Collaborate with Sales/Engineering/Operations for messaging alignment and pipeline acceleration.Leadership & OperationsBuild/lead high-performance marketing team.Manage marketing budget and resource allocation for maximum ROI.Cross-functional alignment with Management, Sales, Operations, Engineering.Must-Have Skills & Experience10+ years progressive marketing leadership in optical communications, semiconductors, or networking.5+ years specifically in coherent optics, DSP algorithms, modulation formats, transceivers/PICs.Proven track record launching technical semiconductor/telecom solutions in startups/high-growth companies.Deep understanding of coherent optical systems and market dynamics (telecom/datacom).Experience owning MRDs/PRDs and translating complex tech into compelling narratives.Excellent communication for technical/audience audiences.Preferred:Experience with hyperscalers, network OEMs, system integrators.Team/budget management; startup + enterprise exposure.Led through funding/M&A/IPOs.QualificationsMS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr Apply To This Job
