Our client, a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth development through sports, is seeking a passionate and organized Remote Youth Sports Development Coordinator. This is a fully remote position that allows you to make a significant impact on young athletes' lives from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting youth sports programs across various regions, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for participants, coaches, and families. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the planning, implementation, and execution of youth sports programs and events nationwide. Developing and distributing program materials, schedules, and communications to participants, coaches, and parents. Providing remote support and resources to local program coordinators and volunteers. Assisting in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of volunteer coaches and program staff. Ensuring adherence to organizational policies, safety guidelines, and best practices for youth sports. Collecting and analyzing program data, feedback, and impact metrics to inform continuous improvement. Managing program registration processes and maintaining participant databases. Collaborating with internal teams on marketing, fundraising, and outreach initiatives related to youth sports. Staying informed about current trends and best practices in youth sports development and child welfare. Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during program delivery. Contributing to the development of new program initiatives and curriculum enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, Child Development, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in youth sports programming, coordination, or a similar role. Demonstrated passion for working with young people and a strong understanding of positive youth development principles are essential. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools, project management software, and standard office applications is necessary. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting is critical.
