Skills

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in an insights, strategy, analytics or consumer research role within a media agency, ad tech, publisher, or in-house marketing / consumer insights team
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, media landscape and campaign measurement fundamentals: including performance KPIs, brand lift and how to evaluate marketing effectiveness
  • Ability to turn raw data into compelling and commercially relevant stories that lead to action. You know how to build a presentation with a strong narrative that is more than a collection of charts
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to convey information clearly
  • Experience using AI as a thought partner for insight development, applying sound judgment, factchecking and business context to refine prompts and ensure quality of output
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write, customize and debug queries to collect data to support analysis
  • Proficient in quantitative skills with the ability to work through datasets, identify meaningful patterns and trends and connect findings back to business questions
  • Familiarity with code-specific AI such as Claude Code or Codex with an understanding of how to incorporate instruction sets, repeatable functions and automate workflows focused on data collection, analysis and producing reporting
  • Ability to test, validate and debug AI-generated code, with proficient knowledge of SQL and Python to streamline analysis, verify accuracy and automate reporting
  • Experience working with Databricks, Snowflake or other similar unified data analytics platforms
  • Experience with Python data analysis libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, PyMC and related packages for statistical analysis, visualization and modeling
