Treasury/Analyst (DOE)
About the position You will play a key role as a team player in our treasury team within the finance department. Key areas of responsibility will be assisting treasury perform daily cash management, quarterly and monthly analysis/reports as well as working with new partners or programs that are being onboarded into the Bank. We are highly focused on new initiatives and process improvements within the finance department. This will require a candidate who can take ownership and collaborate to bring an optimization from idea to final form. While you will assist in policy creation and strategic partner communications, no day is like the other and you will frequently be asked to perform ad-hoc analysis in Excel or SQL. You should be willing to troubleshoot, investigate, and collaborate with other parts of WebBank’s finance, strategic partnership, development, and other internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Interact with Treasury Manager and others assisting on special projects; Special projects include process improvement, strategic AI implementation, automation, etc
- Assist in onboarding new Bank partnerships and programs into our platform;
- Assist in processing ad-hoc wires, ACHs, book transfers;
- Maintain institutional and brokered deposit book;
- Maintain and update treasury cash management policies;
- Assist Treasury Manager in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc treasury reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data, or similar (or equivalent banking workplace experience)
- Advanced Excel skills
- SQL knowledge (intermediate+ preferred)
- Must be organized, ambitious, and have the ability to multi-task
- Must be detail-oriented
- Be receptive and actively implement change, adaptable to new processes and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, must be comfortable working within a team environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to communicate effectively across a broad base including internal customers, external customers, and executive management.
- Ability to source and manage a team that will provide ongoing oversight of key clients and/or direct Bank products and services.
Nice-to-haves
- AAP certification
- Prior Financial Services/Bank operations experience
- Experience with: Tableau, VBA, Power Automate, JHA Enterprise Workflow, AI exposure
