PSR Connecting Talent, Crafting Success. Cloud Delivery Engineer We are seeking a Cloud Delivery Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of two (2) days each week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) onsite in Dimondale, MI and three days each week remotely. Engagement: Our client is looking for a candidate with a focus on basic cloud engineering Cloud deployment. This role will wear multiple hats assisting team to comprehend objectives, generate solutions, POC the solution, generate recommendations then implement the decisions. The Entry-Level Cloud Engineer will support the department cloud architecture and engineering teams in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments. This role is ideal for early - career technologists who have foundational cloud knowledge and are eager to grow into a full cloud engineering or cloud architecture role. The engineer will assist senior architects in understanding business objectives, developing solution concepts, performing proof - of - concepts, and implementing cloud technologies that improve delivery, automation, and operational efficiency Skill Matrix: Required Cloud Delivery Analyst / Business Analyst 1-3 years Knowledge of concepts of designing and developing dynamic Cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services and moving parts involved in continuous integration and delivery. 1-3 years Experience with Tooling and Automation to enable seamless automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Highly Desirable Pipeline Design and Architecture to improve development flow and delivery. Highly Desirable Solid understanding and skill with DevOps, web services and application programming interfaces (APIs). 1-3 years Create, maintain, and troubleshooting skills for cloud infrastructure Highly Desirable Foundational institutional knowledge of State of Michigan platforms, cloud architecture, security requirements and processes. 1-3 years Cloud security and compliance experience Highly Desirable Certification(s): Google - Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader AWS - Certified Cloud Practitioner Highly Desirable Core Competencies

  • Ability to learn and apply cloud engineering concepts quickly.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and assist in developing cloud-based solutions.
  • Interest in automation, DevOps, and continuous improvement.

Core Tasks

  • Assist senior cloud architects with the design and deployment of cloud solutions across the State of Michigan AWS, and GCP environments.
  • Support the build-out of multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid cloud models.
  • Help maintain and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools.
  • Participate in integrating cloud pipelines with existing DevOps systems.
  • Document architecture decisions, pipeline configurations, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and training activities.
  • Maintain clear and organized technical documentation for onboarding and future reference.
  • Support adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, PCI, etc.).
  • Assist in implementing secure configurations and monitoring controls.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into cloud requirements.
  • Participate in discussions with vendors, product specialists, and internal teams to evaluate technologies.
  • Support enterprise architecture reviews and solution assessments.
  • Assist with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud workloads.
  • Help design and test workload migrations and disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Support integration of cloud services with on-premises technologies (VMware, Cisco, Dell, Nutanix, etc.).
  • Leverage State of Michigan Institutional knowledge to cloud engineering projects.
