  • Apply advanced analytical techniques—including statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI—to uncover patterns, trends, and growth opportunities in social and music data.
  • Lead exploratory, product, and audience research projects, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivering clear, data‑driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions, contributing to roadmap planning, feature design, and quality assurance.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations and storytelling narratives that simplify complex insights for stakeholders at all levels.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics, proactively suggesting improvements.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands‑on analytical experience or an equivalent blend of education and work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification trees, k‑means clustering).
  • Strong command of data manipulation tools: PySpark, Python (pandas, NumPy), and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
  • Background in music or media analytics, including familiarity with streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube) and social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Passion for music, entertainment, or media data, with a curiosity for emerging trends like AI‑generated content and voice assistants.
  • Experience drafting data requirements, specifications, and documentation for cross‑functional teams.
  • Track record of delivering end‑to‑end analytical projects that drive measurable business outcomes.
