Role Description Ambulatory Care at Penrose Home Health services a 60-mile radius from our office here in Colorado Springs. Our interdisciplinary team includes:
- Skilled nursing
- Physical/occupational/speech therapy
- Social work
- CNAs
We care for a diverse population of patients, aged 18 and above, and deliver skilled care in the patient's home environment. Skilled nursing addresses a wide variety of patient education such as:
- Medications
- Disease processes
- Wound care
- Ostomy teaching
- IV/PICC infusion

Qualifications
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
- State registered CNA license required
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
- Shift: Full time (nights)
