About arenaflex

arenaflex is a forward-thinking technology organization committed to building digital products and services that millions of people rely on every day. Our mission centers on creating safe, trustworthy, and innovative online experiences where users, partners, and communities can thrive without fear of abuse, fraud, or manipulation. We operate at a global scale, supporting users across more than 40 languages and dozens of markets, and we partner with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, product, policy, and operations to deliver solutions that genuinely matter.

At arenaflex, we believe that the integrity of our platforms is just as important as the innovation behind them. Our Trust and Safety division sits at the very heart of this philosophy. This team is composed of expert Analysts, Policy Strategists, Engineers, and Program Leaders who work tirelessly to identify abuse patterns, mitigate emerging threats, and protect our users, advertisers, and publishers. We treat every data point as a potential signal, every trend as a chance to learn, and every threat as a call to action.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical, intellectually curious, and mission-driven Intelligence Data Analyst – Trust & Safety Operations to join our growing team. This is a remote-first, full-time opportunity based in the United States, open to entry-level candidates who bring a strong educational foundation, foundational experience in data work, and a genuine passion for making the digital world safer. If you thrive in environments where your insights directly shape product decisions, policy direction, and user protection strategies, this role is built for you.

The Intelligence Data Analyst will work within our Trust and Safety Intelligence organization, specifically supporting the AI and Automation transformation initiative. This team is reimagining how intelligence is produced, scaled, and operationalized through cutting-edge automation, artificial intelligence, and data science techniques. Your work will empower the broader Trust and Safety organization to make faster, more informed decisions and to stay ahead of adversaries who continuously evolve their tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Engineering and Automation: Leverage SQL to build robust, scalable, and maintainable scripts and workflows that automate data collection, transformation, enrichment, and distribution processes, dramatically multiplying the team's efficiency and analytical impact.
  • Cross-Functional Translation: Serve as a critical bridge between highly technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex Trust and Safety intelligence requirements into precise, actionable specifications for data solutions and reporting tools.
  • Process Standardization: Develop and document repeatable analytical frameworks, methodologies, and best practices that can be applied across a wide range of subject areas, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and speed in the production of meaningful insights.
  • Data Storytelling and Visualization: Transform raw datasets into compelling, accessible visualizations, dashboards, and narrative reports that clearly communicate findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Abuse Pattern Detection: Identify, investigate, and document emerging abuse trends, fraud schemes, and adversarial behaviors affecting our platforms, contributing directly to protective measures that safeguard users globally.
  • AI and Automation Partnership: Collaborate closely with intelligence analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to integrate AI-driven and automated solutions into existing intelligence workflows, accelerating the journey from raw insight to operational response.
  • Sensitive Content Review: Comfortably handle sensitive subject matter and potentially graphic, controversial, or distressing content while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and unwavering focus on user safety outcomes.
  • Global Collaboration: Work across time zones, languages, and cultures with teammates in over 40 language communities to ensure that our protections are truly global in reach and relevance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent practical experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, statistics, economics, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, market insights, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write complex queries that join, aggregate, and transform large datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Solid critical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for breaking down ambiguous problems into manageable analytical components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree such as a Master's or PhD in statistics, data science, computer science, economics, public policy, or another analytically rigorous discipline.
  • Proficiency with SQL, dashboarding tools (such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar), data collection and transformation techniques, and at least one scripting or programming language — Python is especially valued.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, including the capacity to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical modeling, experimentation design, A/B testing, and causal inference techniques.
  • Prior professional exposure to Trust and Safety, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, content moderation, or technology policy work.
  • Familiarity with the abuse vectors that affect modern digital platforms, including malware, spam, account takeover, advertising fraud, and coordinated inauthentic behavior.

Skills and Competencies for Success

Beyond formal qualifications, the ideal candidate will demonstrate intellectual humility, a learning mindset, and a deep sense of responsibility to the users we protect. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, iterating quickly on incomplete information, and synthesizing diverse data sources into clear narratives. Equally important are emotional resilience, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to maintain composure when working with sensitive or disturbing content. A successful analyst at arenaflex pairs technical excellence with empathy, curiosity with discipline, and individual rigor with collaborative spirit.

Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

Joining arenaflex as an Intelligence Data Analyst is the beginning of a meaningful career trajectory, not just a job. You will be exposed to some of the most sophisticated abuse mitigation work happening anywhere in the technology sector, working alongside world-class experts in Trust and Safety, AI, and policy. We actively invest in your professional development through mentorship programs, structured learning pathways, conference attendance, and access to internal training resources covering topics from advanced SQL and Python to experimental design and machine learning fundamentals. As you grow, you will have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as threat intelligence, automation engineering, policy development, or people leadership.

Work Environment and Company Culture

arenaflex fosters a culture of curiosity, inclusion, and shared purpose. We are a global team that values diverse perspectives, lifelong learning, and the courage to challenge the status quo. As a remote-first organization, we have built robust collaboration tools, virtual engagement programs, and flexible work arrangements that empower you to do your best work from wherever you thrive. Our team members bring authenticity to their craft, pride in their impact, and genuine care for the communities they serve. Whether you are collaborating with engineers in one time zone or briefing executives in another, you will find a workplace that respects your voice, celebrates your contributions, and trusts you to make wise decisions.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. For this full-time US-based position, the base salary range is approximately $108,000 to $158,000, depending on job level, location, and relevant experience. In addition to base pay, full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes bonus opportunities, equity participation, generous paid time off, parental leave, family-forming support, retirement savings plans with company contributions, and a robust suite of health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits. Specific offerings may vary by region, and your recruiter will be happy to walk you through the details relevant to your location during the interview process.

Why This Role Matters

Every day, billions of interactions take place on digital platforms. Behind each of those interactions is a user trusting that the platform will keep them safe. The work you do as an Intelligence Data Analyst at arenaflex directly upholds that trust. Your analyses will inform decisions that protect families from fraud, shield small businesses from advertising abuse, defend journalists from coordinated harassment campaigns, and preserve the integrity of the digital ecosystems millions rely on. This is work with purpose, scale, and consequence — and your contributions will be felt by people you'll never meet but who are counting on us to get it right.

If you are ready to launch or advance your career in data analytics while contributing to one of the most important missions in technology, we want to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a thoughtful cover letter outlining your interest in Trust and Safety, your analytical background, and why arenaflex is the right next step for you.
