Worldwide Salaried Open

About arenaflex

arenaflex is a leading, Fortune‑4 organization that operates at the intersection of retail, pharmacy, and health‑care services. With a heritage that began as a network of community drugstores, arenaflex has evolved into a multi‑disciplinary powerhouse offering prescription fulfillment, over‑the‑counter wellness products, specialty pharmacy solutions, tele‑health consultations, and a full suite of employee‑benefit programs. Our mission is to make health care more accessible, affordable, and personalized for every customer, while providing a dynamic, inclusive workplace where employees can thrive.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s data‑driven environment, accurate and timely information is the backbone of strategic decision‑making. As a Part‑Time Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be the guardian of that data, ensuring that sales figures, inventory levels, and market insights are captured flawlessly. Your work will directly influence product assortment, promotional planning, and overall profitability across arenaflex’s extensive retail and health‑care portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, validate, and maintain high‑volume data sets related to sales performance, margin targets, and category forecasts with a focus on precision and timeliness.
  • Analyze sales trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations for category managers, merchandising teams, and supply‑chain partners.
  • Support the execution of daily operational plans, including off‑rack promotions, limited‑time offers, and corrective actions when performance deviates from expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—such as Inventory, Finance, Marketing, Store Operations, and Merchandising—to ensure data consistency and alignment across all business units.
  • Perform regular audits of sales records and inventory balances to identify discrepancies, root‑cause issues, and propose corrective measures.
  • Maintain and continuously improve a repository of best‑practice documentation for data entry workflows, ensuring scalability and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive movements, and consumer preferences that could impact category performance.
  • Conduct market research on product trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging health‑care technologies to enrich strategic planning.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with retail mathematics concepts (e.g., gross margin, sell‑through, inventory turnover) and a proven ability to apply them in a practical setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—and familiarity with data‑entry platforms such as Access or other relational database tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of delivering error‑free work in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting raw data and presenting clear, concise insights.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with remote and on‑site teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5‑10% of the time for occasional on‑site training sessions, team meetings, or inventory audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a retail, pharmacy, or health‑care setting, particularly within a large, multi‑store organization.
  • Familiarity with ERP or retail management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Retail, or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create compelling dashboards.
  • Previous remote work experience, demonstrating self‑discipline and effective virtual collaboration.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Data Accuracy: Meticulous entry and verification of large data sets.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot patterns, trends, and anomalies quickly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with spreadsheets, databases, and basic scripting for data manipulation.
  • Communication: Clear articulation of findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who can build relationships across functional boundaries.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving business priorities and new tools.
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.

  • Opportunities to transition into full‑time roles in analytics, merchandising, or supply‑chain management based on performance and business needs.
  • Quarterly “Innovation Days” where employees present data‑driven ideas that could shape future product assortments or promotional strategies.
  • Company‑wide tuition reimbursement for relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional, Data Analytics Certificate).

Work Environment & Culture

arenaflex champions a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Even as a remote employee, you will feel connected through:

  • Regular virtual town‑halls with senior leadership, offering transparency into company performance and strategic direction.
