Our Remote Customer Service Representative position sits at the heart of the arenaflex Credit Union Payments and Digital Strategy group. You will be the frontline guardian of financial transactions, ensuring that every deposit, withdrawal, and transfer is processed accurately, securely, and in compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily data entry and reconciliation tasks for member accounts, ensuring flawless balance integrity.
  • Coordinate return items with members, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other financial institutions.
  • Assist multiple departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and general ledger adjustments.
  • Manage member cases and service tickets, delivering timely and courteous resolutions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to NACHA rules, Federal banking regulations, and internal compliance policies.
  • Process loan payments, multi‑account deposits, credit card transactions, and a variety of examinations including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff reviews.
  • Review, approve, and post Remote Deposit Capture, Mobile, ATM, and other image‑enabled transactions.
  • Log, analyze, and post significant GL (General Ledger) account changes or reversals.
  • Execute Stop Pay orders and check batch processing with precision.
  • Complete daily balancing and department closing procedures, ensuring all records are accurate.
  • Gather required information from members to facilitate timely and correct processing of domestic and international fund transfer requests.
  • Research and verify incoming and outgoing fund transfer data, communicating with the originator to execute transfers.
  • Interpret and apply outbound and inbound fund transfer regulations, safeguarding compliance.
  • Perform deposit return analysis, review member inquiries on draft changes, and confirm member data for outbound transfers.
  • Process daily workflows related to overdue returns, receipt issuance, overseas collections, and prison fees.
  • Uphold the confidentiality and security of all member accounts and related data, ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other relevant statutes.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel and Word—demonstrated through work experience or formal training.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a talent for performing accurate mathematical calculations and data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling professional interaction with members, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity.
  • Demonstrated capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure.
  • Commitment to maintaining impeccable attendance and overall performance standards.
  • Willingness to complete arenaflex and Credit Union pre‑employment compliance examinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer service or member service role, preferably within a banking or credit union environment.
  • Familiarity with banking software platforms such as Episys or Symitar, and experience processing wire transfers.
  • Understanding of ACH processing, fund transfer regulations, and related compliance frameworks.
  • Experience handling fraud investigations and resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to cross‑train and take on additional responsibilities within a department.
