Position Overview – Associate, Customer Acquisition

The Associate, Customer Acquisition role is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s growth engine. You will be the voice that articulates the value of our solutions, drives contract renewals, and uncovers upsell opportunities within an assigned territory. This position blends high‑energy sales outreach with consultative support, ensuring every interaction adds measurable value for our customers while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Own a defined geographic or vertical territory, developing a strategic plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue quotas through renewals, upsells, and new contract acquisition.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts, providing insights that help senior leadership make data‑driven decisions.
  • Product Mastery: Attain deep technical knowledge of arenaflex’s product suite, enabling you to assess client requirements, position solutions effectively, and address complex questions with confidence.
  • Customer Advocacy: Proactively identify and resolve customer concerns or roadblocks that hinder product adoption, acting as the trusted advisor who champions the customer’s success.
  • Competitive Navigation: Anticipate and counter external competitive pressures, skillfully handling objections to retain existing accounts and win new business.
  • High‑Volume Outreach: Manage a robust pipeline of outbound phone calls and emails each day, maintaining a disciplined cadence that maximizes engagement and conversion rates.
  • CRM Stewardship: Keep the arenaflex Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system meticulously updated, ensuring all interactions, opportunities, and outcomes are captured for reporting and analysis.
  • Sales Motions Execution: Participate in the full sales lifecycle—including lead qualification, conversion, health checks, and contract renewal—while consistently delivering a professional and personalized experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with peers, sales managers, and cross‑functional partners to share best practices, refine messaging, and elevate the overall customer journey.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer‑facing sales or support role, with a proven track record of meeting or surpassing individual and team quotas.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high‑volume calling environment, comfortably handling 60+ outbound contacts per day.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience learning new technology platforms and interpreting data to drive decision‑making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort navigating cloud‑based productivity tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM system; ability to log activities, manage pipelines, and generate reports with precision.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying root causes and delivering sustainable solutions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Willingness to work from home on a regular basis, while also being able to commute to arenaflex’s Nashville hub at 621 Mainstream Drive for occasional in‑person collaboration.

  • Certification or formal training in sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, MEDDPICC) that enhances consultative selling capabilities.
