[Remote] Senior Product Manager

OmniMax is a leading North American building products manufacturer, and they are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and performance of their roofing accessories portfolio. The role involves defining category strategy, leading new product development, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to achieve profitable growth and market success.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the category strategy, including growth, margin expansion, and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain a multi-year product roadmap grounded in customer insight, market trends, and financial impact
- Translate strategy into clear priorities, trade-offs, and execution plans
- Partner with sales & marketing to ensure alignment between product strategy and go-to-market objectives
- Lead portfolio rationalization to reduce complexity, eliminate low-value SKUs, and improve operational efficiency
- Quantify and capture value across the supply chain (cost, inventory, manufacturing efficiency)
- Drive disciplined decision-making on SKU retention, consolidation, and retirement
- Identify, prioritize, and lead NPD from concept through launch
- Build business cases including pricing, cost targets, and ROI
- Partner with engineering to ensure products meet performance, cost, and timeline commitments
- Ensure successful launches with strong positioning, pricing, and channel readiness
- Lead alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, marketing, and sales to deliver business outcomes
- Balance competing priorities (cost, speed, quality) with clear decision-making and accountability
- Serve as the central point of ownership for product decisions and trade-offs
- Analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer needs
- Translate insights into product opportunities and improvements
- Communicate strategy, priorities, and results to leadership and partners
- Support sales enablement, customer engagement, and product positioning
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of product management or product marketing in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience owning product P&L and driving measurable business outcomes
- Strong grasp of pricing, cost structure, margins, and profitability levers
- Ability to define clear strategy and translate into execution
- Data-driven decision-making with strong financial and market analysis skills
- Deep curiosity about customer needs and behavior
- Ability to align and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, and product cost drivers
- Experience with roadmap planning, portfolio analytics, and financial KPIs (e.g., standard cost, margin, EBITDA)
