[Remote] Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kaaj AI is an Agentic AI platform focused on enhancing small business lending through innovative AI workflows. They are seeking an Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle and help shape the company's go-to-market strategy in the small-business lending ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → qualification → demos → pilots → close
- Run outbound campaigns targeting small business lenders and banks
- Craft and manage personalized outreach, sequences, and cadences
- Build and manage relationships with decision-makers such as SVPs/VPs of Credit, Risk, Operations, and Technology
- Accurately forecast pipeline and hit revenue targets
- Represent Kaaj at industry conferences, events, and webinars
- Maintain clean, up-to-date pipeline and activity logs in CRM
- Provide structured field feedback that sharpens messaging, ICP, and positioning
- Partner with founders and GTM leadership on collateral such as case studies, one-pagers, and pitch decks
- Bring market insights back to the team to improve how we tell the Kaaj story to lenders and brokers
Skills
- 2+ years of B2B SaaS or fintech sales experience, with a track record of closing complex deals
- Exceptional communicator who can clearly explain technical and financial concepts to financial services buyers
- Organized, persistent, and rigorous about follow-up
- Comfortable owning a number and building process from scratch in an early-stage environment
- Excited by AI and transforming legacy lending workflows
- Based in the East Coast
- Familiarity with the small business lending ecosystem, equipment financing, or credit underwriting
- Experience selling into community banks or non-bank lenders
- Prior experience as an early or sole AE at a startup
